Hi there...I want to tell you about my love story. I have been on African American Singles.net for a couple of years and have dated a few local people that were just not for me and then a wonderful man named Ryan sent me a letter. I didn't respond immediately, but after he had sent me a couple of letter, I responded. We chatted on-line for a while and then by phone. he came to the salon I worked at and I cut his hair.

December 25th, 2010 was our first date. my children were going to their father's and my family and I had already had our Christmas. Ryan was the perfect Christmas present. I thank God every day for sending me this wonderful man. We were married on Sept. 5th, 2011.....had our reception, this past Saturday, Oct. 14th and went on a short honeymoon. I just want to say that do not be discouraged; meeting the perfect person can and will happen when God wants it to and meeting on a dating site isn't a strange way of meeting...internet dating is just another means to meet someone special just for you!! Thank you African American Singles.net for providing the means....Sincerely, Mary....aka..rnprincess
This story is about Chiq33 and Chance424. We started flirting with each other in spring of 2010 and started dating Sept of 2010. We eventually moved in together in Jan of 2011.

I thought things were going good but a bomb shell hit me in the fall when he told me he was not sure this is what he wanted. We went our seperate ways and I moved further north than where we were and he moved back where he came from, so now there is 80 miles between us. We did get back together after a few months but due to distance only lasted about 5 months. After being apart another 3 months we realized we cannot and do not want to be without each other. He moved in with me leaving a life he has always known, his family, friends and sports. And to conclude this success story we got married Oct 5th, 2011.

Just wanted to start off by thanking African American Singles.net for hooking me up with the woman I love and just and met for the very first time in person on Decemeber 15 of this year. We met on here around middle of April, I sent her a flirt she flirted back and then from there went to instant messaging each other on yahoo. About two weeks later we exchanged numbers, at first I really didnt' call her like that cause I was still having fun doing me.I really didnt care for a long distance relationship didnt really think that they would work. Around the month of June we started talking seriously on the phone but at the same time she still did her thing and i still did mine, but at the same too we were open about it with each other.Did I mention she's from New Orleans and Im from DC, yeah she was able to get away from the storm she lost everything but at the same time too she gained alot, I was with her through the whole thing and wish I could have been closer to her to comfort her at the same time but all I could do was give my voice and my prayers. But other than that we are girlfriend and boyfriend now since October 26 and we basically been talking for about 7 or 8 months. I wrote sent her pictures all the time and she did the same, I forgot to mention she now lives in Dallas Tx, I'll be moving to Chicago to be closer to my family and closer to her of course, from Chicago it's only about 4 or 5 states away. So I pray that God leads our lives in the right direction, and hopefully we will get married and be together forever. Thanks again African American Singles.net.
I remember the first time me and Samantha talked. I noticed a girl sent me an e-mail but her profile didn't have a picture. Something told me though to write her back so I did. And that's where it all starts. We talked back and forth for about three months on the internet and telephone.

It was like she was already my world. When I got up in the mornings all I could think about was her and all day I couldn't wait to talk to her. I would go to bed at night dreaming about her. So finally I invited her to Auburn, which is where I live, to stay for a week. So she came, at the beginning of September during the hurricane. She stayed the week and I just knew saying goodbye would be hard but what I didn't realize was how hard that next week would be. I just couldn't stand it, so after she left and was gone a few days I called and told her to come move in with me, it was just too hard for her to live 3 hours away (Gulf Shores,AL.). So the next week she came. We have now been together about a year and are expecting to be married September 17, 2008. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her, she is the love of my life.
Hi, this is Samantha!! I feel the exact same way he does. If it wasn't for African American Singles.net we wouldn't be together today. We lived so far away from each other. Who knew my soulmate was out there waiting for me. September 17, will be the happiest day of my life.
